Versum allows you to specify where you get your customers from. Apart from default acquisition sources, you can also define your own, customised ones.

Tip: You can use the acquisition source filter in the customers module to find all customers acquired through a given channel. > More on search criteria (filters) 

In order to add your own acquisition source:

  1. Sign in as an administrator
  2. Click settings in the left sidebar
  3. Click the customers button:

  4. In the menu on the left, click Customer acquisition source:

  5. Click the Add new source button on the right
  6. Enter the name of the acquisition source and click add.

In order to edit or delete a customised acquisition source:

  1. Sign in as an administrator
  2. Click settings in the left sidebar
  3. Click the customers button
  4. In the menu on the left, click Customer acquisition source
  5. Depending on what you would like to do, click edit or delete:

    If you edit an acquisition source, after you've clicked edit, enter a new name and click save changes.
