Instead of overwriting an existing appointment reminder message, you can create reminder templates. Thanks to that, you can create new appointment reminders and go back to previous ones at any time.
In order to create an appointment reminder template:
- Click settings in the left sidebar:
- Click automatic messages:
- Click more in the right upper corner, and select Reminder templates:
- Depending on whether you'd like to create a text or an email template, click new sms template or new email template, respectively:
- Enter the template name, subject (for email template) and message. Use tags to insert dynamic information like the appointment date, time etc. Include your contact phone so that customers can contact you:
The following variables are available:
• business name
• appointment date
• appointment time
• contact phone
In order to see what the message will look like when it's sent, click the preview button. - Once you're done, click create.
In order to use a created appointment template:
- Click settings in the left sidebar
- Click automatic messages
- Click edit reminder in the right upper corner:
- Click the use a template link above the message editor (SMS and/or email):
- Click the template drop-down menu and select the template you created:
- Scroll down to the bottom of the form and click save changes.
In order to edit an appointment reminder template:
- Click settings in the left sidebar
- Click automatic messages
- Click more in the right upper corner, and select Reminder templates:
Click edit next to the reminder template you'd like to update:
Once you've finished editing, click save changes.
