If you have saved the password to Versum in your browser and then decided to change it, you might encounter problems when logging in - the browser will continue suggesting the saved password even though it is no longer valid. To solve the problem, you have to remove the incorrect password from your browser.


In order to improve safety and prevent unauthorised access to the system, we strongly recommend turning off saving passwords in your browser.


In order to remove a saved password:


Google Chrome:

  1. Open the Chrome menu using the button on the right of the browser toolbar:

  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Passwords in the Autofill section
  4. In the Saved passwords section, you will see all websites for which passwords are saved in the browser
  5. Click the x symbol on the right to remove the password:

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open the Firefox menu using the button on the right of the browser tab:


  2. Click Options
  3. Click Privacy & Security in the menu on the left
  4. In the Logins & Passwords section click the Saved Logins button
  5. Click the web address of the website which you want to remove password to
  6. Click remove:

  7. Click Close.


Internet Explorer:

  1. Click the tools button  on the right of the browser toolbar
  2. Click Internet options
  3. In the General tab click Delete...
  4. Select the checkbox next to Passwords
    Note: all saved passwords will be removed
  5. Click Remove.


Safari:

  1. Open the Safari menu
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Click Passwords
  4. Select your Versum address 
  5. Click Remove.


In order to disable password saving:


Google Chrome:

  1. Open the Chrome menu using the button on the right of the browser toolbar:
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Passwords in the Autofill section
  4. Turn off the Offer to save passwords option at the top of the page


Mozilla Firefox:


If you don't want Firefox to save the Versum password only, click Never save on the pop-up window with the question if you would like Firefox to save the login for Versum.


If you don't want Firefox to save any passwords:

  1. Open the Firefox menu using the button on the right of the browser tab:

  2. Select Options
  3. Click Privacy & Security in the menu on the left
  4. In the Logins & Passwords sections, deselect the Ask to save logins and passwords for websites checkbox.


Internet Explorer:

  1. Click the tools button  on the right of the browser toolbar
  2. Click Internet options
  3. In the Content tab, under AutoComplete, select Settings
  4. Deselect the User names and passwordson forms checkbox
  5. Select OK


Safari:

  1. Open the Safari menu
  2. Select Preferences
  3. Click the Autofill icon
  4. Deselect User names and passwords
