Categories and subcategories of resources work in the same way as service categories. By default, there are three categories of resources available: rooms, equipment and other. The default categories can be edited, deleted or reordered depending on your needs. You can also add your own categories. 


In order to add a resource category:

  1. Log in as an administrator
  2. Click settings in the left sidebar
  3. In the Add-on settings section, click resources:
  4. Click add/edit/delete in the menu on the left:


  5. Click the add category button:


  6. Enter the name of the category
  7. If you want to add a category, select the All option in 2. Parent category. If you want to add a subcategory, select an appropriate parent category from the list:


  8. Click save in the pop-up window
  9. Click done under the list of categories.


In order to edit and delete categories, add subcategories or change the order:

  1. Log in as an administrator
  2. Click settings in the left sidebar
  3. In the Add-on settings section, click resources:
  4. Click add/edit/delete in the menu on the left:


  5. In order to add and delete categories or add subcategories, hover the cursor over the category, then click the drop-down menu and select one of the options - Edit, Delete or Add a subcategory:


  6. In order to change the order of categories, drag and drop them by clicking the three-line icon:


  7. After you have finished introducing changes, click done.
