You can change the category of multiple products without having to edit them separately. Note that this can only be done by administrators.
How to change the category of multiple products:
- Sign in as an administrator
- Click inventory in the left sidebar
- Select products you'd like to assign to a new category
Tip: By selecting the top check box, next to the Name column heading, you select all products on the list. You can also select a product category from the menu on the left, and then select particular or all products from that category.
- Click edit selected on the right:
- Select the option assign to a category
- Select the category you'd like to assign the products to and click assign:
