Using Versum, you can create customer groups. They allow you to maintain your customer base in an orderly manner and streamline marketing efforts.


If a group contains a large number of contacts (e.g. "regular customers"), you can also create subgroups (e.g. "ladies", "gents", "children").


Creating a customer group or subgroup


In order to create a group/subgroup:


  1. Click customers in the left sidebar
  2. Click the + more option in the CUSTOMER GROUPS section on the left:


  3. Click the add/edit/delete link
  4. Click the add group button:


  5. Enter the name of the group
  6. If the new group is intended to be a subgroup, select the parent group from the drop-down menu in point 2
  7. Click save
  8. Click done:



Editing and deleting a group


In order to change the name of a group or delete a group:


  1. Click customers in the left sidebar
  2. Click the + more option in the CUSTOMER GROUPS section on the left:


  3. Click the add/edit/delete link
  4. Hover the mouse cursor over the group you'd like to edit/delete and select Edit or Delete in the drop-down menu that will appear, depending on what you'd like to do:

  5. You can also select New group to create a subgroup.

    Note: Deleting a customer group will not remove the customer records of customers within that group.
